Return bins, with intelligent validation using the RFID tag in the library item, guide the patron to safely return selected items into a secure bin. On hold items, Inter Library loans, those from other branches, or other specially flagged items, can then quickly be identified and retrieved by staff and made ready for the next patron.
The Nexbib self-service Return Bin is also available without RFID validation, i.e. for libraries only using barcodes.
