Participation in the Nexbib quiz is free of charge and is governed solely by these terms and conditions.

Procedure of the quiz

The duration of the quiz is from 12.12.2022, 0:00 hrs, to 24.12.2022, 24:00 hrs. During this period, users will have the opportunity to enter the quiz online.

Participation

In order to participate in the quiz, it is necessary to fill in and send the participation form displayed. Participation is only possible within the entry period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered in the draw.

Only one submitted entry per participant will be entered into the competition. It is prohibited to use multiple email addresses or multiple social media profiles to increase the chances of winning.

Eligible participants

Natural persons who are resident in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain and who have reached the age of 14 are eligible to participate. Participation is not restricted to Nexbib customers and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.

Should a participant be restricted in his/her legal capacity, the consent of his/her legal representative is required.

All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the quiz and Nexbib employees as well as their family members are not eligible to participate in the quiz. In addition, Nexbib reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are justified reasons, for example

(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the quiz, (b) in the event of breaches of these conditions of participation, (c) in the event of unfair conduct or (d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the quiz.

Winning, notification and transmission of the prize

The winners will be drawn at random from among all participants after the closing date for entries. As the lottery is linked to a quiz, only those participants who have submitted the correct solution to Nexbib will be entered into the draw.

The winners of the prize draw will be informed of their prize in a separate e-mail.

The prize will only be handed over to the winner or the legal representative of the underage winner. It is not possible to exchange, collect or pay out the prize in cash.

Nexbib will bear any costs incurred for shipping the prizes. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize shall be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.

If the winner does not respond after two requests within a period of three weeks, the prize may be transferred to another participant.

Termination of the quiz

Nexbib expressly reserves the right to terminate the quiz without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the quiz from running as planned.

Data protection

Participation in the quiz requires the provision of personal data. Participants affirm that the personal data they provide, in particular their first name, surname and e-mail address, is true and correct. Participants agree to the storage and processing of their data.

Nexbib points out that all personal data of the participant will neither be passed on to third parties nor made available to them for use without their consent.

In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of his/her name and institution on the Nexbib website, in the Nexbib newsletter and Nexbib's social media platforms.

The participant may revoke his/her declared consent at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing to the contact details of the organiser given in the Legal Notice. After revocation of consent, the participant's personal data collected and stored will be deleted immediately.

The operator's quiz is subject exclusively to the law of Switzerland. The legal process is excluded.

Severability clause

Should any provision of these Conditions of Participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Conditions of Participation. In place of the invalid provision, the legally permissible provision that comes closest in economic terms to the meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision shall apply. The same applies in the event of a loophole in these conditions of participation.
