University of West London - Protecting their investment with maintenance & support

Nexbib UK are proud to be supporting the library at the University of West London Library by providing ongoing support for their systems.

Maintenance of existing systems is not only cost-effective but also a sustainable way of ensuring continuity of services in your library. Lenka Shipton, shared their experience of working with us...

At UWL we were seeking an alternative support solution for some of our hardware equipment with sustainability and value for money at the fore fronts of our minds. As it happened, we came across Nexbib serendipitously at the first post pandemic CILIP Library and Information Supplier Showcase in Spring 2022.

After initial discussion of our needs and expectations, Nexbib arranged an onsite visit to assess our hardware and talk us through the support package.

Regular cleaning and service prevents breakdowns and costly repairs

Our experienced team visited the library to carry out a full inspection and thorough cleaning programme at the start of the contract. This 'before and after' of vacuumed filters demonstrates how a build-up of dust can compromise the running of equipment, leading to breakdown, down-time and unplanned expense.

The competitive quote, positive attitude of all staff at Nexbib and a shared outlook on sustainability sealed the deal. And Nexib continue to be fantastic with great work ethics, communication and their friendly and positive approach towards their customers.
