Nexbib welcomes Carsten Scheel as new International Sales Director
Nexbib, a leading provider of innovative library solutions, proudly announces the appointment of Carsten Scheel to become International Sales Director within the organisation. Starting December 1, 2023, Carsten will join Nexbib's Danish office, taking on an international role with a focus on strategic RFID and digital solution concepts and expanding the reach of the Nex.App and other digital online and self-service solutions.
Carsten brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the library technology sector, making him a valuable addition to the Nexbib team. For nearly seven years at Axiell, he played a pivotal role in driving successful sales of their CMS-system across the Nordic region. Additionally, Carsten has played a crucial role in selling RFID and self-service solutions to libraries in Denmark and Norway since 2010.
In 2017, Carsten joined Redia, assuming the position of Chief Sales Consultant, and later as Chief Experience Officer and Chief Commercial Officer. His responsibilities included overseeing sales in Denmark, as well as serving as a negotiator across Europe. Carsten was instrumental in promoting and selling library apps, digital signage, and self-service solutions to Nordic libraries. His work also extended internationally, collaborating with German and Benelux libraries.
